Last week in Karma Kitchen at Western Sydney Unversity, we provided Jeera Rice, Rajma Curry and Son Papdi. There were around 90 students who enjoyed the fresh hot food.
We have som dedicated volunteers who turn up right on time every week without fail. We talk about how much we enjoy this weekly service that puts a smile on so many students’ face and turns the student hun into a family dinner.
We always start the dinner with the Bhojana Mantra and then while everyone is eating food, we walk around and talk to students to see if anyone has any issues, emotional, physical, financial, or mental etc., Students are always happy to talk, and discuss or just chat away for fun.
